Pumpkin Spice Angel Food Cake
Don't deprive yourself from only eating pumpkin treats in the fall. Pumpkin desserts are great year round! One of our favorite recipes is this Angel Food Cake made with pumpkin spice. Whenever you take a bite, you feel like you're eating a light and fluffy cloud on Halloween night.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Move the oven rack to the lowest rack.
- In a mixer, beat the cake mix, flour, pumpkin, All You Can Spice Pumpkin Spice and water on low speed for about 30 seconds. Then beat on medium speed 1 minute. Pour the batter into an ungreased 10-inch angel food cake pan.
Bake 37 to 47 minutes or until crust is dark golden brown and cracks are dry. Remove the cake from the oven and immediately turn the pan upside down for about 2 hours or until cake is completely cool. Using a knife, loosen the cake from the sides of the pan and invert the cake to a serving plate.
For the frosting, fold together the Cool Whip, All You Can Spice Pumpkin Spice and powdered sugar in a bowl. Frost the cake.
Store in the refrigerator.
