Q: How does a subscription box work?

A: When you sign up for a subscription with All You Can Spice, you will receive a spice blend and 3 recipes to use with it to your door every month until you cancel. You can choose to be charged every month, or you can receive discounts by choosing to be billed every 3, 6, or 12 months. 


Q: How big is each bottled spice blend?

A: We sell our spices in bottles that are 8.4 fluid ounces. The specific weight of the spice inside will vary with each different type. As an average across the board, each bottle has about 4oz inside. 



Q: Am I supposed to use all of my bottle of seasoning before my next bottle comes in?

A: Nope! Unless you really love the stuff, we encourage you to hold on to your spice and use it for up to a year (spice quality goes way down after 6-12 months). Along with the recipes that came in your subscription box, our website will be posting recipes for the spices we have already sent out throughout the year. If you do end up using all of your spice, you can always order another bottle through our online store :)


Q: When does the box ship? 

A1: If you are on the subscription plan, your box will ship on the 20th of every month, or the Monday after if that date falls on a weekend. Whenever the box ships, you will receive an email notification. Allow 3-5 business days after the email to receive your box. If the box has not arrived after 5 days, email shipping@allyoucanspice.com so we can figure out the error and fix it. We use First Class Mail, so your package should arrive at your doorstep in 3 business days, but we like to err on the side of caution. 

A2: If you made a one time purchase, the box will ship within 1-2 business days of completing your order. After you receive your email notification that the box was shipped, allow 3-5 business days for its delivery. Q: I just signed up for your subscription plan. Will I get my first box this month or next?

A: In order to receive a certain month's box, you need to complete your subscription order by the 17th of that month. For example, if the current month is October, and you want your first subscription box to ship October 20th, you would need to make your purchase by October 17th 11:59PM CT. If you make your purchase on the 18th, your first subscription box will be shipped to you November 20th. 



Q: When is my credit card charged?

A1: With the subscription plan, your credit card is charged immediately when you make your first order, and then on the 27th for every month you stay subscribed. If you subscribe for the 3 month or 6 month plans, you will be charged on the 27th every three months or 6 months, respectively.

A2: If you are making a one time purchase, your card will only be charged once at the time of purchase. 



Q: Can I buy individual seasonings on your site? When do they ship?

A: Yep! Just go to the Store tab and shop till your heart's content for individual seasoning bottles. If you want to subscribe and get a new one every month, go to the Subscribe tab. If you buy individual spices, they will ship within 1-2 business days of completing your order. 


Q: What's the difference between the subscription and the gift boxes?

A: If you want the seasonings and recipes to use in your own kitchen, sign up for the subscription. With the subscription, you are billed on a recurring cycle until you cancel. If you would like to gift a friend or family member a box, you can choose the gift option, where you will only be charged once. If the person who received your gift likes our box and wants to keep receiving it, they can come to the site and start their own subscription plan


 Q: When do I need to cancel so I'm not charged for the subscription again?

A: If you'd like to cancel your subscription, be sure to do so before the 27th of every month so you are not charged the next recurring bill. 




Q: Why is your spice bottle more expensive than something I can get in a store?

A: There are two main reasons:

  1. A lot of the spice blends you're used to buying are cheap for one main reason: they have a lot of salt. Salt makes a bottle of spice both heavier and cheaper, so it seems like you're getting a bang for your buck. Most of our spice blends are either salt-free or contain little salt. Most of what you get in our bottles is different spices. 
  2. Another thing that increases cost is the amount of spices used in a blend, as well as the percentage of costly ingredients. Here at All You Can Spice, we don't skimp around with the number of ingredients just to try to make it cheaper for us to produce. We also won't limit a costlier ingredient in one of our blends if it will negatively affect the taste we want. We want your taste buds to be spoiled.
